MARY ELIZABETH GOLDMAN

Mary Elizabeth Goldman

Mary Elizabeth
Mary Elizabeth Goldman was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in a home overlooking White Rock Lake.

After she married she worked as an executive secretary in a downtown Dallas office building for an independent oilman – a wildcatter and his son – at a time when Texas politics and Texas oil were one and the same in the city with “an outrageous reputation.”

She has been involved in the writer’s world most of her adult life.

Her love of horses and the fact that she is an accomplished rider have given her opportunities to travel and write for various equestrian publications. Whenever she can she seeks adventures on horseback that have a historical background.

Many of her photographs of these trips have been published along with her articles on the southwest and western culture.

Mary Elizabeth & Mel at The Ranch
A seventh generation Texan she now lives with her husband on their ranch in Bandera County, Texas where she continues to devote her time to real-life adventures and special writing projects.
